The Hector-CP is another member of BLA’s Hector family of wheeled armoured fighting vehicles.
Structurally, the CP differs little from the base APC model, carrying the same armour and weapons in the same layout and achieving the same performance on the same 20000 hour powerplant.
Where the CP variant does differ, is in the load-out rear compartment. Gone are the seats and equipment lockers for the infantry squad of five, replaced with a suit of communication and control equipment and working spaces for three officers.
The Hector CP is intended to act as the command vehicle for up to a battalion of troops, typically all expected to be equipped with Hector variants themselves.
