Originally a homebuilt spring or elastic band powered weapon of Lower Downtown swamplands characterised by its use of a movable cup within its large bore barrel enabling the use of liquid or semi-liquid loads of ammunition, a somewhat (barely) standardised version is now being made for sale by the Superior Kastings soft company.
It’s eponymous ammunition is still mostly procured – or produced – by the users themselves, frequently on the spot.
Superior Kastings sells their 1 kg contraptions for around 30u.
