Only after extended analysis was it discovered that thermai is not a simple virus blocking memory and processors with essentially nonsensical data and operations, but instead appears to be a highly evolved VENT-type virtual entity. The entity is though to be not so much self-replicating as self-expanding, taking over computer systems to add them to a distributed network acting as its host body. The origins and purpose of thermai remain unknown at this point.
