Since 2015, we resist by delivering daily thematic material for RPGs in August.
This year, the theme of the alternate August activity was to be “allies”. Ally-a-Day.
But what is that? The enemy appears to lower their arms. Instead of posing questions, RPGaDay2019 presents single word prompts, suddenly opening a path leading past the About towards the For.
While we do not wish to ignore the hand so offered, neither do we wish to cast out our allies because the enemy for once appears conciliatory.
Neither just RPG-a-Day nor just Ally-a-Day.

Dr. Johannes Foldstaff
Being a fractal archaelogist was never meant to be easy, but Dr Johannes Foldstaff never expected to be stranded in non-euclidian space-time. The Gaussian jungle where he has set up his base camp is infested with vector spiders and matrix snakes. All he has to do is wait for the right Flux-Tide and sail away on his Linearship. What had happened to Eurydike?

Dr. Eurydike Foldstaff
Dr. Eurydike Foldstaff is an acclaimed mystic psychiatrist. She met her husband Johannes during her residence at the Johns Hopkins University. His potential was obvious and held back by a constant dose of prozac. She inserted herself in his life, made him fall in love with him and slowly tapered off his drugs. Soon he developed severe schizophrenic symptoms until he got lost in the fractals of his brain. His incoherent ramblings fuel her magic.
Listening to Dr. Johannes Foldstaffs for more than one hour generates a minor charge per day. It also requires a stress check against the unnatural with a level equal to the days already spent listening to him.
