A second D10 roll determines the strength of the need for vengeance.
Mechanics of Vengeance:
Characters have a limited capacity for pursuing vengeance, their Vengefulness (determine with 1D10, with 2D6 if lawful, with 4D6 drop lowest for dwarves). As long as the total strength of all vengeances they pursue is below their Vengefulness, they may take on further vengeances without issue. If they add a new vengeance when the total strength of existing vengeances is already at or over their Vengefulness, the vengeance with the lowest strength gets dropped, this is repeated until either the new vengeance is dropped or the total strength before adding the new vengeance is lower than Vengefulness. Also, if they successfully avenge someone, that vengeance is immediately dropped.
While the total strength of vengeances is above the character’s Vengefulness, they gain a bonus on all action in direct pursuit of one of their vengeances equal to the amount their Vengefulness is exceeded by.
