An Opbox is a drive system for computers based around Opcube optical mass storage media. In a standard Opbox up to 64 optical cubes can be mounted simultaneously in a three dimensional four by four by four arrangement.
Connection to other systems is via universal chippy-link, for which quad ports are provided.
The internal power of the 8 kg drive is sufficient for 8000 hours of operation.
A 64 cube Opbox costs 120c.
