This modification for full suits of powered armour injects shock absorbent gel into the suit after donning. The gel prevents impact trauma from hits stopped by the armour, by dissipating the energy of the impact.
The gel begins to degrade twelve hours after injection into the suit’s interior and should be replaced if continued operation is warranted. The injection system needs to be refilled after fifty uses.
Modification of a suit costs 120c. Gel for a single application costs 1c. At installation a full refill is available at bargain, bringing the total cost down to 150c (modification plus fifty applications worth of gel).
