* Phosphor: Agility Tests made by the target to avoid catching fire or extinguishing the flames suffer an additional penalty of -20. A target burning from a hit with a phosphor weapon is marked by the luminogenic orbs until the flames are extinguished, until then ranged attacks made against the target gain a +10 bonus and suffer no penalties for darkness, fog, mist, shadow, or smoke.
Special Rules
The Phosphor Scorpion is too small to be driven or ridden. Instead, each Guardsman controller is assigned a special remote control device. The Guardsman must be trained in Tech-Use to use the remote control device, and the device itself weighs 1kg and requires both hands to operate. The remote control has an effective range of 200 metres, although walls above 1m thick and inclement weather can reduce this range. The Phosphor Scorpion cannot move without input from the controlling Guardsman, and the Guardsman must split his Actions between himself and the Phosphor Scorpion. A Phosphor Scorpion takes up the equivalent space of 5 Guardsmen.
