I just needed to get this out of the way, after a discussion about social media (self-)promotion and platform economy sidetracked.
Only Operatives – Only Ops or OOps! (with or without an exclamation mark) – is an adult entertainment video platform and subscription service originally marketed, as the name implies, as exclusively featuring content by and of SLA Operatives.
A rapidly growing newcomer in the always cramped and highly competitive SLA Industries adult media sector, OOps was quickly embroiled in talent wars with esatblished actors such as the Alien Sex Channel while their business model of focussing on platform provision for individual Operative content creators at first left them open to attack via several high profile sponsorship and royalties disputes (leading to a much replayed video of one opposing financier gleefully labeling the deficiencies in Only Ops’ contract provisions as “more than an Oopsie”).
All of this, however, did little to dampen the commercial success of the platform or its highest grossing stars.
Subscriptions rates are per individual sub-channel (creator) and start at 1u per month, going up to 50c per week for some of the biggest names (often but not always corresponding to those with successful careers as Operatives) aligned with OOps.
