The Dark Nebula Nebulizer is a reusable combat aerosol dispenser that can be loaded with separate propellant cartridges and cannisters of high-potentcy lacrymator agents. The pistol grip design facilitates ease of use and a secure grip, shielding behind the nozzle prevents back blast and accidental exposure. It is styled in menacing black composite.
The Dark Nebula comes complete with a special adapter attachment that allows controlled release of agent from a riot grenade instead of a standard cannister, adding further flexibility.
A Dark Nebula Nebulizer including gas grenade adapter costs 4c. It weights 0.1 kg.
Cannisters of lacrymator are good for 15 uses and retail for 2c.
Propellant cartridges are good for 50 uses and cost 1c.

Game Use:
The Dark Nebula uses Pistol skill. It has a range of up to 12m.
Anybody caught within the 1m radius area of the aerosol cloud not wearing eye protection and some form of filter mask will suffer from painfully stinging eyes and fits of uncontrolled, violent coughing. An aerosol cloud takes an average 12 seconds to disperse in the open air. In an enclosed area, this time will increase to up to 60 seconds.
Anybody caught in an aerosol cloud without the proper protection must make a PHYS roll at a -10 or suffer the above mentioned effects for 5 minutes.
When using a riot control grenade instead of standard cannisters, the effects are the same as for the grenade and dispersal times increase to 1 minute or 3 minutes, respectively. The area of effect remains the same as for the standard aerosol (1m). A single riot control grenade is good for 5 uses. After being attached to the Dark Nebula, it can no longer be employed as a grenade, even if it has not been used and is later removed from the adapter.
