The Washing Trough Gang
To mislead the riverwardens patrolling the Aver, the members of the gang dress up as washing women tending their trade on the Moot’s river banks. Once the coast is clear, though, the halflings let their washing troughs slip down into the water and steer them into the middle of the river to hold up boats and barges demanding what they call a “scrumpy toll” – though that can turn out to amount to everything not securely nailed down.

If you have ogres, you have to have halflings.
