Inkursion
Less iconic than its heavier comrades, the Inkursion, a light krawl developed by the URRS during the early days of the Ironhold, was still one of the most widely deployed ground combat vehicles of that era. The Inkursion-class of light krawls is especially notable for being one of the first krawls designed from the ground up with protocol stabilized skydrop capability. It was intended mainly for use in a reconnaissance role and deployed as such in the krawl formations of the Red Fleet. It was widely exported to the URRS’ allies and friendly and aligned states across the globe.
Aklys
The Aklys was a light krawl developed by the WTA in response to the URRS’ Inkursion. Plagued from the start with numerous problems and delays, it did not reach operational status until more than a decade after the introduction of its rival. While a more capable combat vehicle at least on paper, it remained behind the Inkursion in tactical and strategic mobility and it achieved its superior combat power only at the price of expensive custom equipment that further reduced the Aklys’ already low servicability rates.
