Abenteuerskizze (adventure sketch) is a German community project. Someone chooses an image and presents it in a blog post. Anyone who wants to contribute uses that image as inspiration for their own blog post.
This month’s image was selected by Oger, who also brought up association with eternal youth achieved through scientific means.

Irrespective of the substance or technology used to achieve its prolongation, I would also implement additional effects of an extremely extended lifespan similar to some of the effects from my LAD houserules, especially the – repeated, in this case – granting of disadvantages coupled with matching experience points.
Though I consider a gradual decline over time of Breaking Point (stress system) to be also an interesting option, as would be a gradual loss of skill ranks over time.
