Third Eye themselves have these large ultra-flexible gel monitors on offer now. The thin gel mats are based on the same display technology in use in such devices as Third Eye’s Oyster computers, but applied to a far larger scale. Data input to the mat is via chippy link (two ports provided), which – together with the lack of internal power packs – makes the entire assembly fully flexible, without the need for rigid parts.
TV-mats are available in incremental sizes, at a price of 21c per 0.25 metres square.
