RV-K4262
RV-K4262 is a repair boat of the Red Fleet, permanently assigned to the Northern fleet yards. There, the small skyship is used to salvage liftblocks and perform reactor maintenance on the mothballed hulks of rusting skybarges and overstrikers kept “in reserve” to maintain the Red Fleet’s paper strength.

Sorceress-Engineer Katharina Ilyanovna Rykova
Katharina Ilyanovna knows that her post as the commander of RV-K4262 and the ever changing roster of “volunteer” repair and maintenance crews from the special labor camps is a dead end, her own personal political prison and exile for life. The accomplished sorceress-engineer (Red Fleet Sorceress level 8) takes no joy and little pride in her work anymore, at the same time finding herself unable to do anything less than a thorough job.
