At 60 kg, this sturdy field generator weights as much and more than most heavy weapons, while still being a long way off from the half-ton monstrosity that is the core of a power field emplacement. With the use of suspensors or – more commonly – a wheeled carriage for towing by a team of sappers, it can be maneouvered into place rather quickly under most field conditions to significantly strengthen field works and other defensive strongpoints even while they might still be under construction.
It follows the rules for refractor fields but its protection extends to all within an up to 5 metre radius from the generator.
Refractor works are extremely rare.
