Epic Roleplay is more or less complte.
Yesterday, the article on additional voidship facilities closed a last – initially intentional – gap in the rules, adding an idea of carrying capacity to ships.
What is left are … building blocks.
For one, the type that is part of the rules – Epic Roleplay is an open system where there is always room for additional alternate talents, for alternate homeworlds, alternate careers (indeed, the first thing to happen from player side was one of them presenting me with a Felinid career as a Beastman alternative), alternate psi powers, morr techarcana, more weapon qualities, more facilities for bases or ships, more antagonists -,
Then, of course, the type that is generated from the rules – characters, planets, sectors, voidships, factions -,
But also all the building blocks from the source material that can be used directly without conversion – I am thinking especially of the scenario tables from Rogue Trader, Warhammer Siege, White Dwarf 141 (Space Fleet), Realm of Chaos: The Lost and the Damned, the event tables from Mighty Empires or also Warhammer Quest, but also complete scenarios, faction and place descriptions from any number of books and articls, especially older ones but newer ones, too, and of of course all of the Epic material itself.
What is also left is an outlook.
Eldar, Orks, Chaos. Each with their own careers and own rules modules.
(Squats, on the other hand, could be easily completed just by adding a few alternate building blocks – an alternate career for Living Ancestors, a set of alternate psi powers for those. Done.)
