Children of the Gold Ball
An ancient fey curse runs through your bloodline.

You are a human and you share all human traits unless otherwise noted below.

Ability Score Increase. Two different ability scores of your choice increase by 1. This replaces the standard human Ability Score Increase.
Speed. Your base walking speed is 20 feet. You also have a climb and a swim speed of 20 feet. This replaces the standard human Speed.
Strong Legs. You are proficient in Athletics and you may add twice your proficiency bonus to all Athletics checks.
Prince of Frogs. You gain the ability to speak with small beast as as a forest gnome, although in your case it is limited to frogs and other amphibians.

Yes. Well. The reduced speed is because I imagine them to be… hopping? waddling? whenever they are not outright jumping around. Other than that I see them as being mostly human, maybe with strange voices or some other minor froglike features (long tongue, greenish tint to their skin, rudimentary webbing between their fingers) – these may well vary from individual to individual. They also have a penchant for marrying into royal houses…
