Red Cedars
A second installment of The Red Star under quite similar circumstances than the month’s premiere: A historic-political campaign core with supernatural elements thrown into the mix.
In focus this time: The Lebanese Civil War.
To be honest, I did not get much further than that. To a huge degree, the campaign would boil down to a motivational tool for myself to invest more time into learning about this long complex and – in English or German at least – not especially accessible conflict (maybe the one thing it is relatively easy to get your hands on is US opinion[s] on the 1983 embassy and marine barracks bombings). Until now, I have done little more than scratch the surface of this.
Putting together some supernatural components following the general pattern of The Red Star is little more than a little stretching an excercise in comparison.
