Ajax Pattern Astartes Bolt Pistol
The Ajax is a pattern much valued by chapters who put stock in close assault shock tactics, where the tremendous automatic fire rate of these bolt pistols lend yet more force to the initial impact of the marines’ attack.
However, as a back-up weapon and in longer engagement, the same high rate of fire combined with the reduced ammo capacity of the Ajax pattern can make it a liability.
The Ajax pattern follows the rules for an Astartes bolt pistol with the following exceptions: Its RoF is S/3/5 and its clip size is 10.
