Day 16: Only War
Yag Summer Uniform
The regiments recruited from the warrior societies of the Yag – Yag being the name of both the planet and the people in their dialect of Low Gothic – are renowned for the summer uniforms. They wear none.
Whenever the climate even barely allows it, the Yag regiments’ soldiers will go naked. They wear little more than a belt or a chest strap to hold some gear if even that. For armour, they depend on elaborate ritual warpaint, depicting local Yag versions of Imperial iconography, a sign of faith for which they are often lauded by Ministorum priests.

Special: Yag guardsmen are unused to wearing armour, wearing armour causes them 1 level of Fatigue. They gain Resistance (Cold) and Resistance (Heat) as additional starting talents.
Standard Regimental Kit: 1 Good Craftsmanship M36 lasgun and 4 charge packs, 1 mono-knife, 2 frag grenades, 2 krak grenades, warpaint, winter uniform, poor weather gear, sling bag, basic toolkit, mess kit and water canteen, blanket and sleep bag, rechargeable lamp-pack, grooming kit, cognomen tags, Imperial Infantryman’s Uplifting Primer, and 2 weeks’ rations.
