The Shellshock continues Military Assault Laminates’ foray into the non-powered armour market. Its clamshell design uses heavy ceramic plating to protect the wearer’s body.
At 18 kg the Shellshock puts a lot of strain on its unassisted wearer and limits his mobility, but the protection afforded – and affordable – by the Shellshock more than offsets such limitations.
At 325c the Shellshock is priced well below powered suits which cannot offer a fraction of its protective value.
