The starship’s communication systems are deliberately filled with scrap code, freely replicating within the quarantined cogitator banks of the ship’s great vox antennae. This makes it nigh impossible for intruders to break into or manipulate the ship’s communications.
External: This Component does not require hull space. Although it is external, it can only be destroyed or damaged by a Critical Hit.
Veiled Vox: Jam Communications extended actions targetting the starship suffer a -30 modifier. Also, the starship can only be targeted by Hail the Enemy extended actions if the Explorers choose to.
