Flyers…

Doomflywheel
This seemingly crude construct of corroded metal and dead wood can rise into the air by blindingly fast rotation of its outer ring, spewing vapours and particles of warpstone in all directions in the process.

Having the doomflywheel pass by is in itself already a source of at least light corruption.

…and pilots

The Flying Rat
This mutant has a giant pigeon’s head. It is unknown whether his mutation drove him to seek out the ratmen, seeing in them some kind of kindred spirits, or whether the mutation is itself a result of experiments performed on him by the loathsome skaven. Whatever the truth, he learned a lot about Clan Skyre’s bizarre mixture of science and sorcery during his time in the under-empire before managing to escape. Now back under the open skies, he spends his time tinkering with and testing the flying machine he developed based on Clan Skyre’s principles, seeking ultimately to use it in founding his own over-empire, spreading corruption and disease throughout the sky in the same manner the skaven do through the bowels of the world. The ratmen themselves take a dim view of his activities, especially Clan Skyre who want to safeguard their secrets, get their paws on the plans for the doomflywheel, and last but not least want the warpstone back, the Flying Rat stole from them.
