Karavan Transport Aircraft
While skyships are the permier means of air transport for the Red Fleet, not all missions warrant the deployment of the giant vessels. For shorter distances, smaller cargoes, and lower profiles, the Red Fleet uses transport aircraft like the Karavan.
The Karavan is able to carry 25 tons of cargo or up to 250 troops and can even accomodate light vehicles. Loading and unloading is via a rear ramp that can be opened in flight, which allows vehicles to be deployed using parachutes or drop casings and makes the Karavan usable as an auxilliary bomber.
The Karavan’s crew of six consists of a pilot, co-pilot, navigator, engineer or sorceress-engineer, radio/radar operator or infokaster, and a gunner for the defensive cannon mounted in the rear hardpoint.

Junior Lieutenant Nikolai Andreyevich Nemirov
Nikolai (male Red Fleet Officer 1) does not cope well with his role in the war in Al’Istaan, ferrying young Red Fleet infantrymen to Koba airport and flying their zinc coffins back out. The handsome young man with the large dark eyes has developed a drug addiction he needs to feed and pay for and now it isn’t necessarily just bodies making the trip back home on his Karavan.
