This complex protocol relays tactical information derived from continuous transpathic scans directly into the mind of the recipient, facilitating an otherwise impossible to achieve understanding of the current battlespace.
For the duration of the protocol, the target is aware of all opponents and cannot be surprised or flanked and is never considered flat-footed. The target may also ignore any miss-chances to attacks it would normally incur.
In addition, the target may receive a bonus to all attack rolls, initiative and Tactics skill checks, based on the original Kast check result: This bonus is +1 for every 5 full points by which the ksting sorceress surpassed the Kast check DC, up to a maximum of +5 (i.e., +1 if the result was between 25 and 29, +2 if it was between 30 and 34, +3 if it was between 35 and 39, +4 if it was between 40 and 44, and +5 if the Kast check result was 45 or higher).
Receiving such an influx of information and maintaining its flow is extremely taxing for both the sorceress and the protocol’s target.
As long as the sorceress maintains her concentration, she will take 1 additional point of non-lethal damage every round. This non-lethal damage is not reduced by her reduced protocol cost class feature.
After the protocol ends, the target must immediately make a Will save with a DC based on the sorceress’s kaster level and Charisma bonus as normal. This DC may not be voluntarily reduced by the sorceress. Success means the target is dazed for 1 round, otherwise the target is nauseated for a number of rounds equal to the number of rounds the protocol was previously maintained.
Overkast: One extra willing creature can be affected per grade.
