Tolberk
Tolberk is a minor circle deity of Tharn. He is the god of surrendering with honour. As such, he is perhaps the servant of Tharn most hated by his sister Relthea, because he offers the promise of war without hate and of ending a battle without massacre. Naturally, his name is invoked during surrender negotiations and peace envoys, hostages and prisoners of war are all considered to be under his protection. There are two conflicting legends of his elevation to the circle and individual cults of Tharn and Tolberk have indeed come to bloody blows over these differences. While both sides agree that Tolberk’s elevation came about as the result of a battle which ended in a voluntary laying down of arms, one side claims that Tolberk was the place at which this surrender happened, while the other insists that Tolberk was the general who was defeated.
