Simm
Simm is a minor circle deity of Tharn. Courage is not limited to Tharn’s field of honour. The hapless Simm had to be very courageous indeed to face the tests of his overly demanding master who never grew tired of ruthlessly punishing even the most minor slip on Simm’s part. Perhaps he needed to be more courageous than many warriors in the heat of battle, because Simm had to stand his ground all alone without any comrades, and never was his life and limb or that of friends and loved ones at stake to lend further steel to his heart. So great was his courage, that Tharn himself started to look in awe upon the eternal apprentice. Figurines, images and symbols of the patron god of testees abound, though many of them show a still marked lack of craftsmanship. In the provinces of the Elysian Empire, the followers of the God Emperor have a hard time to put a decisive end on the worship of Simm, despite putting great effort into this undertaking.
