Sentient Weapon Avatar – a new player race for D&D

Sentient Weapon Avatar
You are a sentient weapon, but you can project your will into a physical avatar.

Alignment. You typically share the alignment of you creator.
Weapon Body. You may choose any weapon which is your real body and permanent form.
You are proficient with weapons like yourself.
You are a construct and can only take actions other then your racial abilities in this form while someone is attuned to you and wields you. This person is called your wielder.
In your weapon form you may ignore verbal components and non-consumable material components without gp cost.
You follow all rules for sentient weapons in that form, while not projecting you can speak to the person you are attuned to.
The weapon has an enhancement bonus equal to half your proficiency bonus rounded down.
Projected Avatar. You can project your will into a physical form resembling your creator. When the avatar is created it must appear in an unoccupied square within 5 feet of our weapon form. In this form your hit points and physical stats matter and it is considered a normal member of the race of your creator. You have a movement speed of 30ft.
As an action you or your wielder may create or desolve your avatar.
If your hit points drop to zero, your avatar immediately cease to exist. You wielder must spend a long rest to reform your avatar, or if you have no wielder, you need a year and a day to reform the avatar yourself.
Build for Eternity. Your weapon body is indestructable. You do not age, nor do you need to breathe, sleep or eat. You are immune against diseases. You cannot be put to sleep through magic and cannot be transmuted into something else by an ability that isn’t your own.
You however need to desolve you avatar during a long rest.
Subraces. Your subrace is effectively determined by which race your creator belonged to.

Dwarven Creator.
Ability Scores. Int +1, Wis +2.
Size. The size of your avatar is medium.
Armor Form. Instead of a weapon you choose a suit of armor or a shield to be your real body.
All your abilities listed under weapon body apply your armor form instead.
Instead of being wielded you need to be worn to have access to your non-racial abilities.
If you are not a shield, someone attuning to you causes the armor to change its size to suit its wearer and if a battlerager attunes to you, you grow armor spikes.
Senses. In your armor form you can see and hear 60ft. You have 60ft darkvision in your armor and avatar forms.
Languages. You can speak, read and write Common and Dwarven.
Headstrong. You have advantage on Charisma saving throws and checks to take over your wielder.

Elven Creator.
Ability Scores. Int, Wis, or Cha +2.
Size. The size of your avatar is medium.
Senses. In your weapon form you can see and hear 120ft. You have 120ft darkvision in your weapon and avatar form.
Languages. You can speak, read and write Common and Elvish.
Weapon of Elegance. Your weapon form has the Finesse property and your avatar may treat other weapons of your type as if they had the Finesse property.
Magical Implement. Your wielder may ignore non-consumable material components with no gp cost while holding your weapon body. Your avatar form may do so in general.
Your wielder may also apply your weapon enchantment bonus to their spell attacks.

Gnomish Creator.
Ability Scores. Int +2, Cha +1
Size. The size of your avatar is small.
Senses. In your weapon form you can see and hear 60ft. You have 60ft darkvision in your weapon and avatar form.
Languages. You can speak, read and write Common and Gnomish.
Secondary Function. Your weapon form also doubles as a tool of your choice. Your enhancement bonus also applies to your tool function. You have proficiency with that tool.

Human Creator.
Ability Scores. Int +1, Wis +1, Cha +1
Size. The size of your avatar is medium.
Senses. In your weapon form you can see and hear 120ft.
Languages. You can speak, read and write Common.
Adaptability. As a bonus action, you or your wielder may change what kind of weapon you are. In addition, you are proficient with all weapons.

Otherworldy Creator.
Ability Scores. Wis +1, Cha +2.
Size. The size of your avatar is medium.
Senses. In your weapon form you can see and hear 120ft.
Languages. You can speak, read and write Common and another language of your choice.
Telepathy. You can communicate telepathically with any creature within 60ft.
Planar Affinity. Choose radient, necrotic, fire, cold, acid, lighting, thunder, or poison. Your weapon form deals damage of that type. Your wielder and your avatar form have resistance to that type of damage.
