The working title is at once fitting and misleading.
A campaign in the first worldwar – without fantastic elements for once – focussed on the strategic and even more so the political spheres in “the East”. Alternate history emerging from playing, dealing in all those what if? questions associated with this dynamic “front” of the Great War. From minor powers entering the war (when? on whose side? at what price? and whether at all?), over the collaboration arrangements – or lack thereof – of allies, to interior policy and court intrigue, war aims and visions of future order, dreams and promises of independence, all that and more have me thinking of exploring this in a free form game.
