Cable Laurel of Thebia – a treasure for SLA Industries

Loot-a-Day, Day 28: Burglary at the museum

Cable Laurel of Thebia
Based on its shape and the location of the find, this Shade artefact is being interpreted as a sort of headdress worn by a member of the extinct Conflict Society. No technological functionality of the wreath of heavy, intertwined, and ceramic ring covered, metallic cables could be identified.

Why SLA Industries?
First, we thought about whether we should go with a historical, natural or art for the museum and decided on history. And when thinking of archeology and especially museum pieces, SLA Industries, the Conflict Wars, and there the Shade are and often and easily trod path for me (I blame the old anouncement for the Shaktar sourcebook from Hogshead days – it featured the idea of Conflict archeology).

Loot-a-Day is a month-long German blogging challenge by fellow German blogger Greifenklaue, who was inspired by ArtifactaDay which we ran last August as a counterpoint to RPGaDay in Germany. We followed up on this with two more marathons of daily content about artificial creatures and science-gone-too-far, respectively, and now Greifenklaue seeks to spread the format.
