Command Umbilical
This is a spool of light weight high strength data cabling with secure command plugs to connect to a control console or a techpriest’s command implants on one end and a servitor’s cortex on the other. This allows for remotely commanding a servitor even under conditions of impeded electro-vox communications, as long as the umbilical is not severed. There are 100 m of umbilical on a typical spool and several spools can be connected to increase command range, though total lengths over 500 m may require signal boosters and may lead to command delays or misinterpretations by the receiving servitor.
