“Scalpel” Drop Pod Launch Bays (Supplemental Component)
The “Scalpel” holds only a few drop pods and is capable of launching only a single pair at a time, but its power hungry superior guidance suite allows landing sites to be hit with absolute pin-point precision.
Steel Rain: When working towards a Military objective, the players earn an additional 50 Endeavour Points towards completing that objective.
Precision Drop Pod Deployment: The players may use drop pods. The “Scalpel” design is equipped to handle 10 pods, 2 of which can be launched every 30 minutes (i.e., it may launch 2 pods per strategic turn). Pods launched from a “Scalpel” only scatter 1d10-5 meters upon landing. The pods must be recovered from the planet’s surface before being reused.
