Psychotropic Sustainer (Life Sustainers Component)
Psychotropic sustainers help controlling a vessel’s crew and their performance by admixing alchemical gasses to the air, enhancing alertness, numbing pain and discomfort, slowing metabolism as needed and commanded, though the continued exposure to the myriad of substances and the difficulties in controlling dosing can lead to an increased number of fatalities over time. In the dire circumstances of boarding combat, they can even flush the vessel with a thick fog of frenzon, turning the most timid crew into crazed berserkers screaming fo blood.
Blissfully Numb: This component reduces all losses to Morale by -1 (to a minimum of 1). At the same time it increases all losses to Crew by +1.
Frenzon Flush: During boarding combat, all crew losses inflicted upon the enemy are doubled.
