It is unknown which horror gave this twisted design into the hands of Barsaive’s namegivers. The pain and suffering it has unleashed by way of infected inks and insane tattoo artists is becoming a fact of life in Barsaive’s city all too well known however.
Hypnotic tattoos are usually placed on the palms of the hands. While they appear strange and unappealing to others, to their bearers the tattoos emit an almost irresistable attraction. When a bearer looks at their tattoo, they have to pass a willpower test against their own social defense to be able to look away again and do anything else.
