Arzu Baz (female Nistaani Warrior 1/Red Fleet Officer 1) is a young aktivist of the Internationalist Party of Al’Istaan. She just recently returned to the village of her birth after studying at the party university in Koba and as party functionary and government official has now taken responsibility for building and leading the local administration. Her time in the capital has only sharpened her fanatical devotion to the cause and she feels that radical measures will be necessary to make the ideals of the revoultion a reality here.
Anath Najma (female Nistaani Warrior 3) is a young aktivist of the Internationalist Party of Al’Istaan. Other than her childhood friend and comrade in arms Arzu she never left the village and continuously stood up for the party and internationalism within the village community. Her time in the village has slowly tempered her fanatical devotion to the cause and she feels that hard work and many compromises will be necessary to make life better for the people here.
The split running through Al’Istaan also runs through the camp (or rather: camps) of the government – more potential conflicts threatening to erupt and waiting for the characters to be drawn into, also more problems with organizing dependable support.
(I am not entirely happy with using an image of Makita as the article’s illustration but I really couldn’t find a better fit for the young Nistaani revolutionaries.)
