Classified ad by a talismonger looking for a quite exotic component for a quite exotic focus enchantment. Aside from hard honest nuyen, other similarly exotic materials, future favours or services (such as weighing a runner’s karma) can be negotiated for as payment.
Notes:
I am quite fond of breaking the largely transparent, understandable, predictable frame of Shadowrun’s magic by having the unexpected, hard – or not – explainable pop up suddenly (and not just at the climax of some run or world shattering quest or other). Also, today I noted for the first time that “gila monster” is an anagram of “talismonger”. Finally, in my head it’s her who posted the ad.
