01010-00010/00010 – programs for SLA Industries

Evil Eye TMPS
The Target Movement Predictor Software (TMPS) cues a shooter on a target’s movement patterns, including likely defensive actions. The software’s predictions are strictly individually computed based on collected video data of the target, setting the Evil Eye apart from other systems.

70c individually, or integrated in the 810c E² Sniper Suite

Game Use:
The TMPS providea a +1 rank bonus on the marksman skill per hour of video footage of the target fed into the system. The normal skill rank maximum still applies.

In CS1, a model equipped with an Evil Eye TMPS making an aimed ranged attack imposes a -2 modifier on the target during the opposed roll. One use.

  1. In the CS1 skirmish game, most modifiers are positives. So, it would be perhaps more fitting that it were a +2 to the attacker’s roll?

    1. Thanks for the feedback! You are right, but a simple bonus seems a bit boring – especially compared to the Tight Beam Scan.
What do you think about this, though:

The target may not add its FA to the opposed roll.

So, instead of introducing a negative modifier, you simply leave out a positive one.
